Change keyboard layout in KDE

How to change the configuration of my keyboard in KDE to be able to write accented words?

Use the following procedure to change the setting of your keyboard in KDE.

Note: In GNU/Linux the words is accentuated using dead key

1. Go to Start Menu
2. Select System Settings
3. Select Input Devices
4. Select the tab Layouts
5. Check the option Configure Layouts
6. Set layout as shown in the following figure
