The Tor network is a group of servers operated by volunteers that allows people to improve their privacy and security on the Internet. Tor users connect to Internet through a series of virtual tunnels rather than making a direct connection, allowing both organizations and individuals to share information over public networks without compromising their privacy (note that all the information travels in an encrypted way through the different tunnels (including DNS queries) also Tor is an effective censorship circumvention tool, which allows its users to reach blocked content, however, keep in mind that if you use insecure protocols such as the http that sends the information in clear text, the exit nodes can inspect your connection and collect information about you.
In the following video (Spanish) we show how to install, configure and use TOR on Android.
